Health systems around the world are under increasing strain because of the rising prevalence of chronic conditions, including Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Malaria, Diarrhea, Pneumonia, Anemia, Asthma and others. For more than 15 years, disease-management programs (DMPs) have been promoted as a solution to this problem. By carefully coordinating the delivery of high-quality care to patients with chronic conditions, the Parene Disease Management programs will enhance patient’s health, reduce hospitalization rates, and lower treatment costs.

We are committed to bringing exceptional disease management services to the citizens of Sierra Leone at the lowest possible cost. Many people in this country do not have access to basic healthcare services, thus we believe by offering accessible and high quality medical and disease management services, we can help improve the quality of life for the citizens of Sierra Leone, while preventing avoidable deaths and illnesses.

Program advantage:
Shift to wellness promotion and disease management to reduce disease burden, decrease medical and economic challenges for both the public and the private health sector. Our goal is to provide support to employers, business owners, petty traders and non-traditional workers. The disease management program manages chronic diseases and provide access to resources. The program will improve quality of life for our members, partners and communities, by minimizing health cost through preventable admissions, and decrease in health-related productivity loss by early diagnosis and timely interventions and referrals.
