Parene Healthcare is a social enterprise organization based in Sierra Leone. Parene Healthcare is engaged in projects to improve access to basic health care services, and health related products within communities, to promote quality of life, prevent illness, and manage disease.

Our projects and products are carefully selected based on our commitment to improve quality of life, and health outcomes in our country.

In partnership with local and international stakeholders we continue to work to implement services that will help our country achieve sustainable development goals for lasting change to help reduce noncommunicable disease burden. Parene Healthcare programs are designed to bring affordable care to consumers who may otherwise not seek care because of cost, time constraints, transportation, confidentiality, and privacy concerns.

About Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone ranks amongst the lowest in global health indicators. Cost of health care has been a deterrent to early intervention resulting in poverty-related health crisis and avoidable deaths. Covered services include, disease management clinic visits, mobile tent clinics, approved home health visits. Essential drug coverage at clinic dispensary will from the system formulary under covered diseases, and interventions.

Our Mission and Vision

Help reduce chronic disease burden, by designing a sustainable, accessible, and affordable healthcare franchise system, for consumers who may otherwise not seek care because of cost, transportation, and confidentiality concerns.

Our Goals

  • We are committed to our advocacy of raising awareness about chronic medical conditions, disability, and non-communicable diseases which can lead to death when not addressed with proper treatment.
  • We partner with our public healthcare sector, local government, and international stakeholders to raise advocacy that will give health issues the attention and solutions needed.
  • We will encourage donors, benefactors, and sponsors to do their part by participating and investing in programs related to the control and prevention of non-communicable diseases and chronic health conditions.
  • We will disseminate truthful and up-to-date information that will hopefully drive the world’s leaders to take these health issues more seriously and provide the urgent medical aid that Sierra Leone needs.
